What is VidMirror?
VidMirror helps you to easily upload your videos to multiple video hosting services such as Youtube and Google Video. We then give you code to include on your site that will let your visitors choose from among the video copies.
Choose a Version
VidMirror Sidebar (Instructions: Firefox, Opera)
To use the sidebar in Firefox:
- Bookmark the Sidebar link
- Right click the bookmark and select "Properties"
- Make sure the Load this bookmark in the sidebar option is checked
Now whenever you click the bookmark the VidMirror Sidebar will be loaded in your browser's sidebar.
To use the side panel in Opera: (tested using Opera 8.51)
- Bookmark the Sidebar link
- Go to Bookmarks -> Manage Bookmarks
- Right click the bookmark and select "Properties"
- Make sure the Show in panel option is checked
- Then if the panel isn't displayed, you can go to View -> Toolbars -> Panels. Or you can alternatively hit F4 to show or hide the side panel.
Now whenever you open the Opera side panel, you can click the bookmark to the VidMirror Sidebar and it will be loaded next to the panel. Links and forms will then be loaded in the page located next to the panel.
VidMirror Standalone (Instructions)
The standalone version allows you to use the features of the sidebar in a framed page, where links and forms from the left frame open up in a main frame.
What's new?
Monday, June 5th: In the Standalone version, the Google Video upload link and Putfile upload link now open in new windows. The pages were breaking out of the frames.
Sunday, June 4th: VidMirror has just been released. The service will be improved as I get feedback, so be sure to send yours.
